To save/rescue as many lives as we can for those who cannot defend themselves. Whether it is because of abuse, abandonment, or a lost dog, we are there to protect and save.

Originally from New Orleans I moved to Texas 6 1/2 years ago. Once I moved to this state, I realized I had to focus on my biggest passion, ANIMALS, who are in need. Since then, I've supported and helped many animals who do not have a voice of their own. I have seen many situations that animals find themselves in, through no fault of their own. Be it shelters, the streets, irresponsible owners, and now my personal rescue, I have stepped up and saved many animals. These angels cannot defend the situation they are in. That is what WE are here for. We owe this to them. We must stand up and be their advocate.

Animals are my main PASSION in life. True, I cannot save them all, but I will do everything in my power to save as many as I can from unnecessary euthanization and abuse. The help of others makes this dream come true every single day. STEP UP** Fosters, Post for the animals, or Volunteer. Together we can make a huge difference.

I am appalled at how easy it has become for many shelters to kill animals for nothing more than space. Just to fill up to capacity, then, kill another large number to make space for more animals they take in. It is a vicious cycle. Sadly, without our help, I see no end in sight. I am here to be a best friend to the ones who cannot speak. Who through no fault of their own, are placed in a shelter because they were lost or abandoned by owners without a conscience. They are then placed on the euthanasia list and killed because of others actions. Did you know that lost dogs are only held for 3 days. If no owner comes to reclaim them, it means almost certain death for them. Not adoption BUT DEATH. Did you know black dogs are the most common dogs to be euthanized in a shelter? Why? Because they are considered "ordinary." For many, it is an automatic death sentence if you enter the shelter and you are black in color. Life is far more important than this. All are very special and should be helped in whatever way we need them. I assure my rescues that I will be there for them, every step of the way and I never break that promise once they are rescued.
