I'm Sasha and I am a female Hound/Spaniel mix, 3 years old and 25 lb. I am good with other dogs, cats and with calm children. I came from a hoarding case but my foster mom has been working with me and I am really coming out of my shell. I can be a bit scared at times but want to be petted and loved once I know I can trust you. I like to be in your lap and by your side and will wag my tail a lot when you are near. I also love my crate - it makes me feel secure. I'm doing good on a leash and with my house training.

Hi, I am Tito, a 5-year-old male Terrier mix who weighs 18 lb. I love to cuddle and I am a very affectionate dog. I am playing more now than when I came in, I was very nervous then.. I am house trained and I am fine in the crate. I am learning to walk on the leash but at my own pace. I don't care for car rides. I would need a fenced in yard and would love a female only home 😀 I am a ladies man. I do need grain-free food because I have allergies and even though I only have a few teeth left, I can eat dry kibble. I also prefer to be an only child. Foster momma is very good with me and understands I need a lot of love and patience to grow to be the dog I can be. Are you the perfect home for me?

Hello, my name is Brownie and I am a female Beagle, 3 years old and 30 lb. I was rescued from a hoarding situation where I had lived in a backyard my entire life with my 6 brothers and sisters before we were all surrendered to a shelter in Kentucky.

I was very shy at first, but have really come out of my shell . I am good with other dogs and have learned a lot about going potty outside and leash walks during my stay with a nice lady in Kentucky who fostered me.

I had tested positive for heartworm but I have since been treated and now I am ready for my forever home. I will still be on medication until the end of December and will need to be tested again in May. It is still recommended that I have limited activity until I test negative, so walks are fine and playtime is fine but no long runs or extensive play (think no dog park) until I get the all clear. This has been a whirlwind for me but I can now say I am thriving.

Although I am doing well with learning to trust humans, I would do best in a home with at least one other dog for company and reassurance, and to help show me the ropes.

I am Spot, a female Beagle mix, 3 years old and 25 lb. My markings look like those of a Blue Heeler, maybe. I am definitely a mystery mix but as you can see, I am a beauty!

I came from a hoarding situation and was brought in with Tandy and Buttons. I am shy and will belly crawl to you for love, but I am sweet and eager to please. I am very confused and afraid right now, but I do like to be petted. Once you gain my trust, I will do a lot of happy tail thumping. Oh, and I LOVE belly rubs.

I am great with other dogs. I am learning how to potty outside and walk on a leash. I am not happy being in the crate but I love to curl up quietly in bed with my pack. I sleep through the night so I'm no trouble at all. I need someone with patience who can let me come out of my shell at my own pace. I am a good girl but I do have a lot of energy and would definitely need a fenced yard.

Monica is 3 years old, 11 pounds, and just arrived from Tennessee this morning. She is brindle and white and has little Dachshund legs. I think she’s also part Rat Terrier/Chihuahua. (Not that it’s scientific at all but the Dog Scanner agrees with me.) Monica was surrendered for being snappy with children but her TN foster family had well-mannered kids and she was fine with them. According to them she gets along with dogs and cats too. She is very affectionate and enjoys being held and carried around.⁣

Meet: Arielle is a playful 1-year-old Corgi mix who enjoys napping, chewing on a bone, and playing with other dogs. She’s a little skittish and needs additional leash and house training. Arielle enjoys being outside, hiking, cuddling, and being part of a pack. She’s typically gentle with humans and has a big bark for a little dog.

She would benefit from additional discipline and training. She is motivated by praise, patience, attention, and treats.

Arielle came to us slightly underweight and has gotten to be more active as she has gotten stronger. She would benefit from regular exercise and long walks.
