Heaven Can Wait Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to rescuing and providing safe haven for neglected, unwanted, injured and abandoned companion animals.

Our purpose is the rescue, safe haven and placement of abused or unwanted animals into permanent loving homes, however long that takes. It’s not about finding any home; it’s about finding the best match for a successful adoption and giving all dogs the opportunity for a loving, forever home.

Some dogs are too traumatized, abused, ill or old and will remain forever in sanctuary care. We provide whatever they need - medical care, special food, soft dog beds, daily care and feeding and lots of love - for a safe, comfortable and happy life. Ultimately, we are with them for end of life care.
