CCSHRM is a not-for-profit association of HR & company leaders. We meet on the 2nd Thurs. of each month at "The Flame" steakhouse at 11:30 am.

CCSHRM is a non-profit, professional association representing employers throughout the Central Carolina region, including Lee, Moore, Harnett and Chatham counties. It was created in 1996 and remained independent for its first decade before becoming an affiliate of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Our primary goals is to promote excellence in human resource management by finding "best practices" in the profession; helping members share their insight and expertise; bringing specialists to meet and share their expertise with members; and encouraging interest among students and young professionals exploring human resources as a career.

Because community service also remains a priority, CCSHRM sponsors events designed to help local workers enhance their job-seeking skills and find employment in some of the area's top companies. Recent events include JobFest, the region's largest job fair, and Career Blitz, a seminar focusing on interviewing and career-building skills.
