This is Bug! He is roughly 8 months to 1 yr. He was found after he was hit by a car and had a broken leg and some wounds. He 100% healed, healthy, neutered and fully vaccinated and microchipped.
He is a little timid of strangers at first but when he opens up he is marvelous!! High energy and spunky and always being a little goofball! Loves to play with all pets and is a superchewer!! When he is done he is also full of snuggles and love!! He will lighten up your life!! Once you get to know this little creature your life will never be the same!!!

Meet Pike - our Pet of the Week😻🥰
SCCAS is at CATPACITY!!
We still have our Cat adoption special running through November so you can adopt your new best friend for $21!
While we have many beautiful cats and kittens available for adoption, we want you to meet Pike! Pike is a special senior cat that is looking for a warm lap to snuggle on this winter. Pike has won the hearts of staff and volunteers quickly as she gives kisses and is described as loving and a “purr machine.” This sweet girl loves to sit in your lap and spend quality time with the people she loves. We don’t know much about Pike’s history as she came to the Shelter as a stray where she lived her life outdoors and Shelter staff believe she is about 11 years old. Since being at the Shelter, she has enjoyed her private kennel space and spending time with the volunteers. Pike is very affectionate, and she loves her food! Does this sound like a good fit for you? Visit the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter today!

Last year I adopted Juni from the local shelter and she has been a light in my life ever since. Saving a dog and giving them a loving home is an amazing feeling and last week I had the incredible opportunity to work with @officialscanimalshelter to take some new profile pics of their adoptable pups, like 7 month old Chapo here!
Head over to their site to read more about Chapo as well as all the other wonderful dogs that are available!
