Springfield Animal Control is responsible for handling all Springfield Police calls related to animals as well as licensing of dogs.

To provide the best and most comprehensive services to the citizens of Springfield in relation to animals and their well-being within the city charter and Springfield Police Department goals.

Springfield Animal Control is currently staffed by Animal Control Officer Austin. We handle all licensing for dogs that live within Springfield City limits as well as all enforcement and calls related to domesticated animals(Dogs & Cats). One of our primary tasks is handling complaints for barking dogs, dogs at large, and owners failing to remove their pet's waste matter.
