H.E.A.R.T is a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for homeless pets in our communities through helping with adoptions from shelters, community awareness, and when able, fostering and caring for companion animals until loving homes can be found. Our organization is run by individuals who generously volunteer their time, homes and hearts in order to help.

It is our belief that with some temporary assistance, many animals can remain in their current homes instead of being admitted to animal shelters. Whenever possible, food and medical services for pets is available to approved responsible low-income families, senior citizens on fixed incomes and families that are dealing with illnesses where resources are limited.

Whenever possible, financial assistance is provided to responsible pet owners who wish to spay or neuter their pets but cannot afford to do so. We also sponsor vetting of animals in kill shelters in order to prevent the loss of life.

We wish to educate the public on the correct and moral way to care for their animals, including the importance of spaying and neutering pets to help stop the flow of abandoned, abused and unwanted animals in our community.

We will exchange information and work with other humane organizations to help locate lost pets and rescue abandoned and abused animals.




H.E.A.R.T.'s "mission" focuses on keeping animals in their homes by providing what we can. Our goal is to have fundraisers that provide needs to ensure our food pantry remains stocked, to help with medical needs when the funds are readily available, to help with the cost of transport of animals to reputable safe havens, and to help fund medical care along with covering the cost of spaying and neutering animals in the shelters as they, being GOVT owned, cannot ask for donations.
