Human Nature & Tomorrow's Society Institute

The Institute is a continuing education mobile organization.

To utimately envision a world where human diversity is celebrated rather than feared. We should begin to work toward reaching clarity about our goals which in turn assists in clarifying the work we should be doing now. We sincerely hope that all the groups working for change will put forward their visions of an egalitarian, just society, out of their own experience and research. This process will involve dialogue among various segments on particular visions and in time some consensus may emerge but not without persistence, conflict, compassion and trust.

We also endorse the believe of the American Humanist Association which eloquently states: "Humanism is a rational philosophy informed by science, inspired by art, and motivated by compassion. Affirming the dignity of each human being, it supports the maximization of individual liberty and opportunity consonant with social and planetary responsibily. It advocates the extension of particpatory democracy and the expansion of the open society, standing for human rights, and social justice. Free of supernaturalism, it recognizes human beings as part of nature and holds that values - be they religious, ethical, social, or political - have their sorce in human nature, experience, and culture. Humanism thus derives the goals of life from human need and interst rather theological or ideological abstractions, and asserts that humanity must take responsibilty for its own destiny."

To examine the human condition to its maximum utilysing everything from the traditional classroom all the way to the individual's own self-reflection. This will include discussion groups, seminars, forums, workshops, lectures, panels and various forms of multimedia presentations. In addition, we plan to include a dialogue in a social interactive medium.
