Hi, I am Peppa and I am a very special girl. I was a young mom and both of my babies found their forever home and I'm ready for mine. I've been with my foster for a few months and I've come really far. I was so scared and shy at first. I didn't mind pets but fast movements and unpredictable actions scared me. Since working with my foster, I am a fan of pets and snuggling next to you. It does take me some time to feel comfortable to even snuggle up to my foster mom.

I love to be up high and watch the world but will seek you out for pets, snuggles, and play time. I will need lots of windows to keep an eye on the birds and squirrels. I've seen a lot of other fosters since I've been in my foster home. I usually keep to myself but I do grow fond of ones that are young and I've watched them grow up. Fennel, Houdini, and Dora have been some of the ones I'm with now. I need a quiet home with a patient adopter who understands that my adjustment to my new home will take time. Older patient children could be an option but young kids and dogs are a no thank you.

Foster needed!!! Veruca is depressed at the county shelter and desperately needs an adopter or foster 🥺 She lays in her kennel all day terrified and shaking. Her tail showed us some wags when we brought out one of the other dogs, so we think she may do well with a friend!

She’s about a year old and thirty pounds. Who can take in this sweet girl?! NCHS will provide all necessary foster supplies! Let’s free this girl before Thanksgiving!!
