We are a self funded horse rescue located in Maryborough QLD. We provide the care, training and/or rehab needed before rehoming our horses.

Hucknall Road Horse Rescue is located just outside Maryborough. We are a privately funded horse rescue. Our main funding comes form our information sessions held and pony pals days and pony parties run through our sister page Pony Parties by Hucknall Horse Rescue.

Our main focus at Hucknall Road Horse Rescue is to help those horses that have been forgotten and/or need help. We focus on horses headed for the doggers, but also accept owner surrenders if funds and space is available.

Our main goal with our horses is to rescue, rehabilitate, train or retrain as needed and rehome to a forever home under contract.

How can you help?
We love having visitors and so do our horses! Cuddles and grooming time is never unwanted, just pm the page to request.

Donations?
We do not receive a great amount of public donations and so we self fund most aspects of our rescue. Anyone that has anything to do with horses, knows that their care is very costly so donations of items are gratefully accepted. A wish list of items needed is posted on our notes page and if there is anything you are able to donate, please pm the page. If you would like to help with costs of animal care and treatment, please also pm the page and we can provide you with feed shed or vet details for instructions and payments.
