Horse Rescue Australia takes in horses that have been neglected, abandoned or abused. Our goal is to rehabilitate and re-home.

Horse Rescue Australia (HRA) was established so that abused and neglected horses would be given the opportunity to have a new start in life.

In order to achieve this HRA will undertake activities that will:

(a) Identify, care for, and undertake to find appropriate homes for horse that have been the subject of neglect, mistreatment and abuse;
(b) Raise the public awareness of the plight of neglected, mistreated or abused horses;
(c) Assist in the education of the public on responsible horse ownership and horse welfare issues;
(d) Work in a co-operative way with other like minded organisations; and
(e) Raise funds and use those funds to further the aims and objectives of the organisation.
