Rennie's Orphanage and Animal Rescue -ROAR

A special animal rescue center that caters to the needs of injured and unrealisable animals, providing them with a forever home with love and care

To provide a forever home for animals that would be deemed unreleasable

Rennie’s Orphanage & Animal Rescue (ROAR) is a non-governmental organization, operated by a young man whose mission is to educate our nation of Trinidad and Tobago on the benefits of having our specific ecosystem and the delicate balance of the interactions between the community members. ROAR also seeks to effectively manage the rehabilitation, repopulation and rescue of our wild animals. ROAR also seeks to provide a “forever home” / sanctuary for animals that are so severely damaged that they are usually euthanized, which is a safe environment that would be stimulating and rewarding as they adjust and recover from the damages caused by anthropogenic factors.
ROAR operates from 323A San Pedro Road Rio Claro, as is the only sanctuary in the South East of the island of Trinidad. We officially opened our doors on Sunday 1st June, 2014 and are currently under construction, to provide the animals in our charge with the best possible captive experience.
