Mission statement:
To protect, care for and rehome stray animals of Alanya.
About us:
We are a group of local and expat volunteers in Alanya, Turkey, who are working tirelessly on improving the welfare of the stray animals in the city, providing food and medical care, rescue and rehoming. The animals on the streets in Turkey live though lives and many know nothing of the love and care that we are accustomed to showing our household pets Europe. Many succumb in a struggle for food, territory and disease and never get to experience the age old bond that exists between animal and man. Despite all the hardships, these animals display a fantastic personality and make great companions and we have made it is our mission to be their champions.

Our aim is to:
To rescue animals from a life on the streets.
To ensure medical treatment is available for all animals.
To ensure food and water is available to all animals.
To provide a safe haven for animals in need.
To rehome animals with suitable families.
To provide a program for castration and vaccination of stray animals.

What we will do:
We will build and operate a shelter for animals in need or danger.
With in our shelter we will establish a clinic and hire a part time veterinarian to ensure our animals
receive appropriate medical treatment, vaccination and castration.
We will provide low cost castration and vaccination of animals for families with financial hardships.
We will instigate a program of vaccination and castration for the stray animals of Alanya.
We will support the volunteers who tirelessly work to feed the stray animals of Alanya.
We will put in place a system for the rehoming of animals abroad, working with local organisations
and individuals in Europe to ensure the most effective and responsible adoption procedures are
implemented.
We will provide information and education on being a responsible pet owner and on the responsible
treatment and care of animals

How we are organised:
We are organised into three organisational groups,
The Action Group who will respond to calls about animals in need or danger, organise the rescues and
manage our catch/release animals for castration and vaccination
The Adoption Group will work Find long term homes and families to our animals and work to build a
network of foster families, both in Alanya and abroad. They will work with individuals and organisations
in Europe to ensure the most effective and responsible adoption procedures are implemented.
The Organisation Group will maintain the daily running of the organisation, of the shelter, the
volunteers and provide the support needed to the Action and Adoption Groups as needed. They will be in charge of organising and running our fundraising events and social media campaigns.

Om oss:
Vår gruppe består av frivillige og lokale beboere i Alanya, Tyrkia. Vi jobber med å forbedre gatedyrenes velferd ved å gi mat, medisinsk behandling, redning og omplassering. Gatedyrene i Alanya, Tyrkia, lever under svært dårlige forhold med utfordringer som mangel på mat, vann, sykdommer og positiv menneskekontakt. Mange av gatedyrene får aldri opplevd båndet mellom dyr og menneske da de ofte dør i en tidlig alder av sykdom, matmangel eller pådrar seg skader i ulykker og mens de forsvarer sine territorier.
Til tross for alle vanskelighetene disse gatedyrene opplever har de en fantastisk personlighet og tillit til mennesker, og vi har gjort det vår oppgave å hjelpe de.

Hva gjør vi?
Vi skal bygge og drive et krisesenter for dyr i nød eller fare.
Vi vil etablere en klinikk innenfor krisesenteret og ansette en veterinær på deltid for å sikre nødvendig medisinsk behandling, kastrering og vaksinering til dyrene.
Vi vil tilby lav pris på kastrering og vaksinering av dyrene til familier med økonomiske utfordringer.
Vi vil iverksette et program med kastrering og vaksinering av gatedyr i Alanya.
Vi vil støtte de frivillige som mater, beskytter og hjelper gatedyrene i nød.
Vi vil få på plass et system for omplassering av dyr til utlander ved å jobbe med lokale organisasjoner og individuelle i Europa for å sikre at adopsjonsprosessen er implementert effektivt og ansvarlig.
Vi vil gi informasjon og kunnskap til dyreeiere om dyrehold og kjæledyr.
Hvordan er vi organisert?
Vi er delt i tre grupper:
1. The Action Group som bistår når dyr er i nød. De organiserer redningen og sørger for at dyrene får den bistanden de har behov for.

2. The Adoption Group vil bistå med å finne permanente hjem og familier til dyrene. De vil også jobbe med å utvide nettverket med fosterfamilier, både i Alanya og i Europa. De vil også jobbe med organisasjoner i Europa for å forsikre at adopsjonsprosessen er utført på en effektiv og ansvarlig måte.

3. The Organisation Group vil opprettholde den daglige driften av organisasjonen, krisesenteret, de frivillige og gi støtte til the Action Group og the Adoption Group.
De vil også være ansvarlige for våre pengeinnsamlinger, veldedighet- og sosiale medier kampanjer.
