ECOPARK - Bukit Merah Laketown Resort

An Eco-friendly animal sanctuary with free roaming animal within enclosures that brings you a world of natural beauty and abundance of fauna and flora to take you out of from ordinary day-to-day life into the astonishing feel of exploration.

ECOPARK
Operation hours:
Daily: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Opened on 5 September 1999.
Has 62 species and more than 300 individuals of animals.
Concept: Open exhibit and eco-friendly. Visitors are allowed to interact and feed some of the animals with food sold at the park.
Land area: 4.5 acres.

4 enclosures:
Nature Trail – squirrel monkeys, arapaima, alligator gar fish, Japanese carp, peacocks, a few species of other fish, chicken, turkey, small birds.
Tropical Trek – otters, gibbons, binturong.
Reptile Park – iguanas, cobras, pythons, various other snakes, sugar gliders.
Pets’ Park – rabbits, guinea pigs, pet mice, hamsters, tortoises, porcupine, goat, hedgehog.
Also has binturong, sun bear, crocodile and deer exhibits.

Daily Animal shows: 11.00 a.m., 12.30 p.m., 2.30 p.m., 4.30 p.m.

Animal Feeding Session:
Duck 10.00 a.m. & 3.30 p.m.
Kelah 10.30 a.m. & 4.00 p.m.
Sun Bear 11.30a.m. & 3.00 p.m.
Peafowl 11.40 a.m. & 4.25 p.m.
Otter 11.45 a.m. & 3.30 p.m.
Koi 11.50 a.m. & 4.45 p.m.
Arapaima 12.00 p.m. & 4.50 p.m.
-Rangers will give a briefing on the animal.

Nature Lab:
- Every Saturday & Sunday at 2.00 p.m.
- Venue: Intermediate Area
- Rangers will give information on animals and
their environment, the usage of plants, etc.

Hoot - Night Adventure (Nocturnal Animal Trail):
Every Friday & Saturday night, eve of school holiday and public holiday (minimum 7 persons). Both prior booking and walk-in guests.
Time: 9.00 p.m.
Tour starts with the Night Cruise (15 minutes) followed by a guided tour in the Ecopark.
