13th Street Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer animal rescue in San Jose, California. We are dedicated to improving the lives of homeless cats and controlling their population by the use of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). TNR is an internationally-recognized, humane and effective program for reducing the population of stray and feral cats. In the past three years alone, TNR has contributed to a 25% reduction in the number of cats and kittens entering our local shelters.
Our volunteers work with local vets and animal shelters to trap, vaccinate, spay or neuter cats, then return the animals to where they were found. Kittens and cats that can be socialized are taken into foster care by our volunteers and then put up for adoption.
All donations to 13th Street Cats help provide food, supplies, spay/neuter, and medical care for homeless cats. For more information on how you can adopt, volunteer, or donate, please visit us at www.13thstcats.org.
Thanks to our sponsors and community supporters including: Whole Foods--Blossom Hill, PetSmart, Petco, Andy's Pet Shop, Pet Awareness and Welfare Society for San Jose Animal Care and Services, and many other local veterinarians and local businesses.
