The mission of St. Charles Parish Animal Control is to provide a service to the people by protecting the animals of St. Charles, securing a safe environment for all homeless creatures and improving the quality of life for all animals.

Animal Control works closely with the St. Charles Parish Humane Society to evaluate and adopt out healthy dogs and cats. The Humane Society raises money to provide shelter animals with medical care and other health-related needs. The Humane Society, in coordination with the animal shelter staff, also provides a variety of programs to promote pet spay/neutering awareness.

The adoption fee is $80 for all animals.

Open for adoptions during normal business hours and the first and third Saturdays of each month between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
