Rushton Dog Rescue Test

Rushton Dog Rescue is a registered charity (number: 1139999) in England and operates throughout the Dorset and Somerset regions.

1) To relieve the suffering of dogs in need of care and attention and, in particular, to provide and maintain kennels or other facilities for the reception, care and treatment of these dogs.
2) To promote humane behavior towards animals by providing ‘appropriate’ care, protection, treatment and security for all animals which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage.
3) To educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals.

Rushton Dog Rescue aims to rescue and rehome unwanted and neglected dogs as well as the occasional small animal which needs our help. We have recently moved to a 3 acre property and our focus is to develop a fully functional and effective rescue centre capable of rehoming up to 400 or more animals per year.

Currently we are able to rescue in the region of 250 per year.
