Florida Big Dog Rescue

Florida Big Dog Rescue and their little friends is 501c3 non-profit corporation.

Our mission is to save dogs from being euthanized simply for being homeless. Statistics show big dogs, particularly big black dogs, have higher euthanization rates at shelters across the country. Nationally, millions of healthy dogs are euthanized each year - including tens of thousands locally here in Hillsborough County - simply because they have no home. Please spay and neuter your pets and help save lives.
We are a 501(c)(3) organization so all donations are fully tax deductible - whether you donate cash or merchandise. floridabigdogrescue@gmail.com

Adopt and save a life!

This care includes some or all of the following, but may not be limited to, all vaccinations, heartworm testing, fecal testing and worming if necessary and surgical procedure for spay/neuter. Your adoption donation also helps to feed, house and provide veterinary care for the animals still waiting to be adopted, and is NON-REFUNDABLE. You are not buying a dog or cat, you are making a donation.

When you adopt an animal from FBDR, you are making a committment for the life of the animal. Guardianship of the animal is NOT TRANSFERRABLE and in the case the the adopter can no longer care for the animal, FBDR MUST be contacted and arrangements will be made deprending upon availablity of a foster home. Please see our adoption application for our complete adoption policy.
