Amicii Dog Rescue is a collaboration between two organisations. We are a registered Charity (England and Wales) registration number

Amicii Dog Rescue runs a rescue shelter and rehabilitation centre in Viisoara, Transylvania, Western Romania. At any one time we have up to 250 dogs resident there. We also have a smaller shelter in Turda, under threat of closure currently. And a number of foster families in Romania. We rehome dogs primarily to the UK either through direct adoption, foster families in the UK or through a number of rehoming centres we work with.

AMICII DOG RESCUE - This page is our main rescue page and contains all the information about dogs in our care. You can access this information by going to photos/albums/dogsforadoption and the individual albums for each dog.

Our group AMICII NEWS gives regular updates on topics of relevance to the rescue - anyone can post on here with admin approval.

Our group I WAS A ROMANIAN DOG is specifically for adopters and we encourage adopters to post photos and follow ups about how our adopted dogs are getting on. It can also be used to get advice from others and is intended to be a supportive group.

AMICII DOGS IN FOSTER IN THE UK is a site specifically for fosterers and potential new adopters to get information about dogs currently here in the UK in foster homes.

AMICII DOG RESCUE AUCTION SITE - this is a monthly auction to raise money for activities in the UK, specifically dogs needing vet care and rescue back up.

AMICII LOTTERY FOR DOGS is a once a month lottery which raises money to help bring dogs to rehoming centres in the UK.
