AMA Dog Rescue

To find safe and happy new homes for the dogs rescued from the public shelters and streets in Romanian

AMA Dog Rescue is located on the outskirts of Bucharest, a safe haven for dogs run by Ana Marie Amarazeanu, Romania can be an extremely harsh place for dogs and the ones in her shelter are certainly very lucky to have a second chance in life. The dogs that Ana has saved come from the rescue missions undertaken from the public shelters sometimes taking the dogs from the next day’s kill list, others are rescued from the streets before the dog catchers take them, and others are saved from the fields, often young or sick dogs that have been dumped and left to die. Ana first rescued a dog when she was just 7 years old, an abandoned puppy, who lived with her until he was 17 years old. Coming from a family of animal lovers Ana went on to study Veterinary Nursing and has devoted her life to animal welfare. To date Ana has saved almost 400 dogs and has been arranging international adoptions for the past 7 years, her dogs have been adopted in the UK, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Belguim, Holland and also within Romania. Ana currently has over 110 dogs in her care, some are ready for adoption and many others are being nursed back to health. Please have a look, these dogs are so desperate for their own family, they have so much love to give ... could you offer one of them a chance ? Please like and share our page and If you cannot adopt but would like to make a donation to support Ana in the incredible work she is doing for the dogs the paypal is amadogrescue@yahoo.com
Just £5 will pay for a vaccination and a worming tablet to start a dog on its journey back to health.
