We are not an actual rescue, we are networkers of animals in need. This page was started to broaden the visibility of Long Island, NY local shelters’ animals, ARNLI quickly became a networking site of many animals in need. We try to use our page to network animals in low visibility animal shelters, animals in need of re-homing, animals in emergency situations who need help, animals who are not easily placed and pedigrees who are up for adoption to show that they can be rescued instead of purchased. We also hope to educate by sharing information concerning companion animals. Each one of us has directly helped to rehome, trap, find funding or medical care, fostered and transported, but each time it was without the support of a rescue.
