On May 2014 we proposed to the local council of Braila city, to enclose to collaboration protocol having as purpose to save the lives of the dogs in the public shelters by reducing the costs of the local public administration, lifting the life standard of the dogs in both shelters, the final goal being the real adoption of as many animals from both shelters as possible.

We had the full collaboration of the public administration that proved the availability to support in any legal way possible!

The NGO Pro Canes et Equos got involved into this project since the beginning as our partner.

For the beginning we have an accommodation space for 100 dogs in Lacul Sarat PS, following that, in several stages, to be taken over the entire capacity of Lacul Sarat PS.

We assure the maintenance, feeding, veterinary assistance and promoting for adoption. The objective is that, in the shortest time possible, to be given into adoption a high number of dogs and to be taken over the responsibility of caring for all the dogs in Lacul Sarat PS.

When this objective will be reached, we intend to extend our involvement in Unirea PS by delivering food, meds, materials. The dogs in Unirea PS will also be promoted for adoption.

To decrease the number of dogs in the streets, we intend to involve in spay/neuter campaigns for the animals with owners, reducing the number of abandoned dogs.

Any help is most welcomed, we are opened to any collaboration proposal and support.
