Ohio Cattle Dog Rescue Team
OCDRT Welcomes you to join us in helping our ACD fosters find their forever homes! Please NO Cross-posting of dogs in need on this page, message us.
We welcome you to join us in our mission of helping the homeless ACD's find their right forever home & with our continued support before & after adoption, we want to make sure our foster ACD's know
"You'll Never Walk Alone".
Our goal is simple - lower the quantity of unwanted ACDs by offering guidance for owners with training, behavior or medical issues and most of all by placing OCDRT's Foster ACDs into a properly screened adoptive homes. When our process is followed you are rewarded with the joy of having the right ACD placed in your home.
Australian Cattle Dogs have always found themselves in shelters & the need to have a network for them in Ohio is great. While Ohio Cattle Dog Rescue Team may be a newly formed group, this Team has many combined years working together in Rescue. The Founders of OCDRT have been active in ACD Rescue since 2003 along with backgrounds in animal control fields, business ownership fields, pet industry & all have been through the adoption process with other Rescues.
This page is a place were we will share our available foster's stories as they enter OCDRT and as they complete their journey into their forever homes. We encourage you to like and share their stories, exposure is the key to that special person finding them. For each foster that goes to their forever home, it opens the door for OCDRT to assist another ACD in need.
We also encourage any of our past Ohio ACD adopters to post their updates! Even if you have not adopted from us, feel free to share your stories and pictures!
OCDRT has filed with the Ohio Department of Agriculture & State of Ohio as an operating rescue, & we are a 501(c)3 Organization, your donations are tax deductible. If you would like to make a donation please check out our website www.OCDRescueteam.org for details. OCDRT appreciates your support!
We welcome you to join in on our mission of making sure each ACD that enters our program will "Never Walk Alone". It takes many individuals to make rescue a success. We value each and everyone who assists in their own way.
