For those who are new to our page and rescue, we would like to explain who we are and what we do. New Leash on Life Dog Rescue strives to save as many dogs as we responsibly can, including those that are typically overlooked because of physical or behavioral issues. 

We are not a shelter, do not have a building, and do not get government help. New Leash on Life Dog Rescue is a foster based rescue and the dogs are kept in homes, raised with families, and are fully vetted before adoption. We do not have paid staff. Our "staff" are volunteers who have families, jobs, and lives. We try our best to help as many dogs as we can, but we can only has help as many dogs as we have fosters and funds for. We always are in need of foster homes, transporters, and other volunteers. Please share our page and help us save as many dogs as possible. We do accept donations and donations are tax deductible. We can always use dog toys, collars (martingale preferred), leashes, bones and treats, dog beds, and kennels. We also accept donations and use paypal too. New Leash on Life (formerly Ruff Life Rescue - A New Beginning) is a foster based dog rescue based out of La Crosse, WI.

The New Leash family LOVES dogs and rescues dogs both local and from high risk, high kill shelters in other states. We rescue all breeds, sizes, and ages. We rescue dogs with health conditions, neglected and abused dogs, and dogs who for some reason or another found themselves behind bars. We do not have a shelter building, but our headquarters are based out of Marcie's Pet Spa in West Salem.
