I just love the family that adopted Bryce now Jabez. I love the way he goes where they go and is truly part of their family. If I could find 100 more like them, I would be one happy rescuer.
Here is what they had to say about him.....
😍This is our 1st Family picture of 6. 🥰Tomorrow marks the 1st month of Jabez with us. This month has been amazing. My gentle giant Jabez, is the best. He jumped right into our crazy routine and transitioned so well. Our hearts are full and he brings so much JOY to many.
🆘🐈Raiden was one of the many cats abandoned this year. He was very sad and his appetite was not great. During his Vet exam we discovered he has a condition called feline stomatitis.
Stomatitis is a severe form of inflammation in the mouth. it is very painful and most cats stop eating from pain.
The immune system reacts to the accumulation of plague on the surface of teeth causing inflammation on the gums and all of mucus membranes in the mouth.
Full mouth dental extractions is a form of treatment to keep inflammation from the gums down. We will need to get this procedure done for Raiden so he can live pain free.
Full dental extractions are very expensive and we are in need of immediate funds to treat Raiden.
there is no cure for stomatitis and it is a condition that will need to be managed and monitored for the rest of life. Please help us get Raiden the treatment he needs so he can live a comfortable life.

Meet Miss Molly!!
This sweet and loving girl has suffered in the hands of a backyard breeder, and yet she wags her tail and gives kisses to everyone she meets.
See Miss Molly was abandoned at SAGE for 2 weeks before being surrendered. When Molly arrived to SAGE she had been in labor for 16 hours, she was able to give birth to two puppies at the hospital. Unfortunately, these babies were dead and she still had one stuck in the birth canal. This was not a surprise. Her emaciated body was incapable of producing healthy puppies but yet she was still bred.
She herself was born with a very bad heart. She has a 5/6 heart murmur that needed to be looked at by cardiologist prior to taking her into emergency surgery. We wanted to make sure she would survive.
Dr.Johns found that Molly has 'severe subaortic stenosis' basically she is at high risk of sudden death.
SAGE surgeons made sure her surgery was fast and safe. The puppy was removed and Molly was spayed. EBARR could not let this girl just be turned into the shelter. We took her on medical conditions and all. She then developed pneumonia and was hospitalized at SAGE for a couple of days.
The good news is Miss Molly is fully recovered from her pneumonia and ready for her forever home!!
This little short stack is is a bully mix, only 2 years old. She is good around dogs, cats and respectful children.
Everyone who meets this love immediately falls in love.
**Please only serious inquiries.
You must submit an application for approval to schedule a meet and greet.
Available for Pre -Adoption only.
Meet sweet little Mahina she is a pitty mix, born on 4/26/21. She is calm and attentive when around people, she loves stuffed animals and playing in the water. If you are interested in adopting this cutie. Please submit an application. This can be found on our website at:

Devita is looking for home who understands, that being a little bit different is okay. She was born cross-eyed with a bit of a lazy eye. According to the Vet her eyesight does not seem to be effected by this, and this does not keep her from being a healthy and happy kitten. Devita is a lot of fun!! She likes to cuddle in close when she isn't finding something to climb, bat, or explore. Devita is loving, playful, and purrs just by being close by.
Devita would love a home with another active and playful cat.

Back in April we took on this only surviving puppy from what was said to have been a coyote attack. Mom and siblings were killed. Some heartless person dumped the family in the woods. Zack has permanent damage to his jaw. He is still able to use his jaw to chew his food but can only open his mouth about 80%. In a perfect world he would get corrective surgery which can be very expensive but we have to wait and see when he stops growing. According to the vet this should not be a problem for him. He is able to eat and chew and open his mouth but will forever have a glorious overbite.
Zack is a 16 weeks old, Belgian Malinois. He is very well behaved and his current foster mom adores him. However, he is looking for a forever home. Zack is very smart , and a super loving dog. Great with everyone he meets, likes other dogs, potty and crate trained.
If you are interested in meeting this sweet boy please fill out an application. this can be found on out website at www.ebarr.org under adopt.

🙏We need help from the public to pay our outstanding vet bill.
Our vet bill is currently at 6k and we cannot continue to help animals until we are fully caught up. As you all know these last couple of years have been extremely tough due to the pandemic. Our ability to hold fundraisers have been at a halt.
We have been helping the community by taking in mommas and kittens in need. The shelters refuse to take in kittens from the public so here we are. We started with 210 momma and kittens this year. Many sick ones treated and we were also hit with Panleukopenia, right in the beginning of kitty season and we lost 9 of them.
Please consider making any kind of monetary donation. Even just five bucks can help out a lot.
