C.P.R. is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to providing placement services to displaced animals in the So. Oregon and California areas.

To provide new beginnings for at-risk animals by providing rescue, care and placement services to animals pulled from animal shelters and the community.


C.P.R. was founded with the desire to provide placement services for the increasing number of dogs abandoned at county shelters and those needing rehoming in the So. Oregon and California areas. We are open to taking in animals from other areas as room is available.

C.P.R. operates with a "Safe Haven" policy in accepting animals for rehoming. Animals are placed in foster homes where they are cared for while awaiting their forever home. All animals of age are spayed/neutered prior to adoption unless they are too young at the time of adoption.

C.P.R. depends on donations and the generosity of the public - donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 5114, Grants Pass OR 97527. We have obtained our 501c3 IRS status.

Founders bring years of experience in rescuing and rehoming animals, volunteering at local shelters and networking on Petfinder and other social media animal sites.
