The City of Monahans Animal Shelter page was created to help the citizens of Monahans find a lost pet that may have been impounded or adopt a new one.

Photos of the animals we have impounded will be posted. To retrieve your pet, all necessary fees will have to be paid and proof of current vaccinations and city tags provided.

We will also post pictures of animals in need of adoption. The fee for adoption is $40.00 which includes:
adoption fee of $25.00
rabies vaccination $12.00
city tag $3.00
An adoption agreement will also need to be read and signed.
