Posh Pets Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and responsible placement of homeless animals in and around New York City.

Our adoption range is 2-3 hours within New York City.
Our foster homes are within 1-2 hours of New York City.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
If you think a dog or cat we have in rescue, could be the right fit for your family, you first need to submit an adoption application (which can be downloaded on our website: http://poshpetsrescue.org/applications/) and send it to Linda at MsLondonspets@aol.com.
If the application looks good, Linda will contact you and put you in touch with the dog's or cat's foster family, so that you can ask any additional questions directly of those who know him or her best, and so that you can set up a meet-and-greet. Every person currently living in the household full-time, will have to be present for the meet-and-greet, as well as your dogs. (With cats, it's on a case-by-case basis.)
During the meet-and-greet, you get to spend time with the pet, and see if he or she is really what you hoped for.
If you feel it is the right match, you have to let Linda know, and we will check your references and set up a home visit.
If everything checks out, the adoption can be finalized.
