You know all this time I have been calling myself a rescue, but I guess what I am is more like a sanctuary for abused and neglected animals. Because my animals never leave, they are never adopted or given away. They live out their lives here at Dakota Acres. I take in the old, sick, abused or just plain neglected animals that nobody else would even give a chance. I have saved animals
that are within seconds to being put to sleep. So instead of being rescue we are going about things a little different. As for now we are Dakota Acres Animal Sanctuary and we accept all animals.
