This initiative is taken on by two dedicated women who have a heart for cats in our neighborhood.

The two women that are taking on this endeavour are a step-daughter/mother duo. Melissa Phipps and Theresa Nicholson are trying their best to give these defenseless cats a fighting chance. They have not asked for this life so providing them with food and the ability to live their lives without having to reproduce is the least we can do. We are currently overseeing three colonies. They consist of Approximately 40+ cats. When we first began they were all unaltered, some abandoned, some are feral, born to abandoned pets. We have 3rd and 4th generations of feral cats. We have taken in at least 3 pregnant mothers that have given birth in our care. We rehabilitate those that can be rehomed by giving them lots of love and affection. Those that are feral and cannot be won over get retuned back to their colony where they are monitored for health and well being and provided the basic necessities of life (food and a safe haven). We are lucky to have joined forces with 3 caring households in the neighborhood that have already been providing some basic care where the colonies already exist.
