To provide a safe haven for farm animals, Horses, exotics that have been abandoned, starved, relinquished and/or abused. To use such animals in out reach programs, schools, entertainment industry etc to educate the public in the proper care and alternatives to financial hardship caused neglect. Second Hand souls takes in all types of farm animals, pregnant horses and exotics that are abandoned, slaughter bound or abused. With over 30 years of training, riding and specialty education in breeding & ranch management, owner Susan Guillot has rescued many animals to date. She has retrained some animals for entertainment work to help offset rescue costs. Many more have been fully rehabilitated and placed in great adoptive homes. Susan bears the cost of this 100% and with rising feed costs has had to turn away many.
