Loving Paws Animal Center - Rescued PAWS Matter

Loving Paws Animal Center - Rescued PAWS Matter was created for fur-babies that are sick, injured, pregnant, senior & scheduled to be euthanized. Fundraisers & kind donations help us to provide all necessary care to each animal in our care.

LPAC's mission is to rescue, treat & house homeless felines and canines in a loving, respectful and attentive facility.

Welcome to LPAC. My name is Teresa Fee; I am the Founder and Executive Director of Loving Paws Animal Center - Rescued PAWS Matter. I have rescued animals for 14 years in Indiana and Florida. I have always loved animals since young, especially, those who are ill, injured and/or of senior age.

At LPAC, our focus is to help provide medical attention and rehabilitation to sick and injured felines & canines. We also welcome pregnant and senior cats and dogs with open arms. Our center is for both adoptable and non-adoptable animals with less aggressive behaviors. We are not a "breed specific" facility. However, due to the care & space these animals typically require, we are unable to properly house and/or handle aggressive canines.

Loving Paws Animal Center rescues stray dogs and stray/feral cats, as well as sick, injured, senior and pregnant felines/canines from high-kill shelters. We do not take in owner-surrendered animals, but will work closely with Pawswap of Greater Lafayette. Our centers space is kept available for animals needing immediate shelter, medical care or confiscated animals from puppy mills and hoarding houses.

LPAC provides lifelong housing and care to non-adoptable cats and dogs. Those who reside with us typically have contagious diseases, specific behaviors that make it difficult to place them in forever homes, or their medical conditions are on-going and surpass most household’s financial ability.

Spaying and neutering your family pets is a great way to help reduce the overpopulation of animals. Not only will it help with behaviors in cats & dogs, as well as their need to mark their territory; they live happier, healthier lives. Altered animals are less likely to contract deadly, contagious diseases too.

Approximately, 2.7 million animals are euthanized a year. Spay/Neutered animals will help decrease the number of animals that are killed. It costs more to care for a litter of kittens or puppies, than it would to have them fixed. One female dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 puppies in a 6 year period. While a cat and her offspring can produce a large amount of 370,000 in seven years. These numbers are outrageous and growing. It's time to help make a difference in the lives of our family pets and our community of homeless furry friends.
