Lil Bit came to the rescue after her previous owner passed away. She is an AKC Shih Tzu and is about 8 to 10 years old. She's in foster care now.

To network, pledge my time and resources, share my home and spread the word so that dogs can be taken from the shelters and brought away from the fate of euthanization. To save dogs from the conditions of the shelters and provide them a safe haven on their journey to their forever home. To spread the word to others who don't understand that shelters are not safe places for their pets and that there are alternatives. To spread the word about spaying and neutering and to fight against abuse.

Lil Bit is a calm yet playful dog, she loves to be by your side, to go for rides, and to the park. She would do best in a home without small children because of her age. In 2011 her owner had a tumor removed and she seems to not have any other recurring problems. But the rescue doesn't have access to her previous medical records.
