Concord Animal Rescue Effort

To assist 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organizations in the local community through fundraising, volunteering, donating and social networking to work towards the common goal of saving the lives of animals in our region.

The Concord Animal Rescue Effort works with 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organizations towards the common goal of saving the lives of animals in our region. We support local rescue organizations in a variety of ways such as fundraising, volunteering, donating, and social networking for the organizations. We collect monetary donations as well as in-kind donations such as old towels and blankets, newspapers, plastic grocery bags, empty microwave dinner trays, old ink cartridges, and a variety of other items (inquire for more details). We also volunteer at various events such as adoption drives, rabies clinics, community fundraisers, auctions, as well as volunteering our time by socializing with animals, cleaning kennels, prepping for large transports and anything else asked of us. C.A.R.E. plays a vital role in the “no-kill” animal rescue mission of providing animals in need with the chance to live healthy, happy lives. If you are interested in donating, finding out more information, or joining C.A.R.E. please contact Kim Nichols at nicholsk@concord.edu or Callie Hayes at hayesc20@mycu.concord.edu. We have regular business meetings on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 4pm in Admin 100.
