The Jacksonville Humane Society provides care, comfort and compassion to animals in need while engaging the hearts, hands and minds of our community to bring about an end to the killing of abandoned and orphaned shelter animals.

Adoptions are done in person at 8464 Beach Blvd. Hours for adoption:

Monday-Friday 12 p.m.-7 p.m.
Sat. and Sun. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.


Our animal hospital is open to the public and provides low-cost veterinary care to pets. Bring your pets to see our vets! Appointments are required, please call 904-493-4611 and leave a message if asked.
