Today we’re celebrating because Pricilla is heartworm free! ❤️❤️❤️
Heartworm begins with a simple mosquito bite. Larvae is transferred to your pet through the bloodstream. When larva matures into adult worms, they can and will cause infection and blockage of major arteries.
Treatment is not an easy task for dogs that become infected. It includes lots of antibiotics, multiple injections and a few months of crate rest — which is really difficult for young dogs with energy to burn.
So as we celebrate Pricilla’s accomplishment, we want to remind you of the importance of monthly prevention for heartworm and annual heartworm testing. ❤️

Little Miss Dolly is an energetic girl that is undergoing treatment for heartworm. Dolly has been extremely bored during her crate rest so she is hoping someone will donate some interactive toys to occupy her mind. We have a handful of items she would enjoy on our Amazon wishlist. Many thanks! ❤️Dolly! 🐾
