We pull at-risk dogs from Sanpete pounds and network with other rescue groups in Utah and adjacent states to help find forever homes.

To end the killing of healthy, adoptable animals simply because they find themselves homeless.

While we used to adopt dogs directly through our group, some major changes in finances and volunteers over the last 2 years forced us to change how we work. We will pull at-risk dogs from many Sanpete County shelters and network with other rescue groups in Utah and adjoining states. The dogs are moved to rescues who can provide vet care and attend adoption events to find dogs forever families. Wag-N-Train provides vaccinations and temporary foster homes until they can be moved to other rescues.

In 2015, Wag-N-Train helped 153 pound and stray dogs and 16 cats.
As of July 31, 2016 we have helped 82 pound and stray dogs and 15 cats.
