Vancourt Dog Rescue is a non-profit organizaton.We find rescued/abondoned dogs safe and loving "forever" homes.

Our mission is to help dogs and to speak for them because they can't speak for themselves. We rescue, save, protect, provide, and love as many animals as we can and place them in loving caring homes

Vancourt Dog Rescue is located in Vancourt, TX. " Where is that" you say?Its bout 20 miles from San Angelo and about 25 miles from Eden. Its a little spot of peaceful bliss in the middle of now where.We are an animal rescue center that takes in abandon/mistreated dogs and rehabilitates and finds them good loving "fur-ever" homes. We are in the baby stage of our journey and need the community's help us fine these doggies what they desertve.We have two acres of beautfuly lansdcaped land surrounded by a ten foot metal fence, which is currenlty in the process of being completed, so we are excited to say the dogs are allowed to run around free and not be all cramped in little bitty cold kennels or cages all the time. Some cases unfortunately,are so severe or unsafe that they must still be in kennels because of their conditions but still receive attention daily from 1-5 or more people.remeber, some of our "lost causes" have years of abuse to forget about.The way we see it, they have already had a rugh start in life, letsmake them happy and loved. We want to save as many lives as we can! We have some dogs that are considered lifers. They will live at vancourt for the remairder of their days,hopefully years. They are normally just older dogs that just have too many health issues to place them somewhere.So they get to retire out here in Vancourt and recieve special treatment and just be happy. We have 55+ dogs at the rescue and just received quite a bit more so we need to find some of these amazing animals the right home so we can save even more! We believe that there is hope for eveyr animal, you just have to take the time to work withh them snd bridge th gsp bewteen their shortcomings so far in life and what lies ahead of them in their new loving homes. We work with what are considered "non-adoptable" dogs according to others but for us, there is always hope. We need goodhearted genuine people to come see are canine friends and take them in and provide them with the most amazing, caring ,homes they could ever ask for. We are a small company and we have a small staff but despite our size, we will contiue to help provide at least a temporary shelter for those dogs that society has given up on . They have had very rough lives in most cases but they still love unconditionally despite everything they have been through and we feel they deserve that and so much more.
