Furry Friends Animal Rescue is dedicated to helping unwanted cats and dogs find homes in the DFW Metroplex through our foster and adoption programs



Furry Friends Animal Rescue (FFAR) was founded in June 2013 by over 20 experienced fosters and volunteers who wanted to start their own all-breed rescue group to save cats and dogs primarily from Collin and Denton County animal shelters. All our dogs and cats live in foster homes - we do not have a physical shelter.
We value the knowledge and experience our Volunteers can bring to the group and for that reason we are a Member-based organization.
