URI Habitat for Humanity

Spring 2017 meetings every Tuesday at 6 pm in Memorial Union 318. Anyone is welcome to join at any time!

Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing from the world and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. URI Habitat will be meeting every Wednesday at 6 pm in Room 360 of the Memorial Union!

We are the University of Rhode Island Habitat for Humanity. URI's chapter involves any students and staff who are interested in volunteering. Along with building, our chapter is involved with many on-campus events such as First Night, Homecoming Weekend and Earth Day, where we reach out to the university and share what Habitat for Humanity is all about. We also take part in fundraisers, such as the South County Habitat for Humanity "Pound the Pavement, Pound a Nail!" Walk and bike rides. There are many ways to volunteer, from building to cleaning and helping sales at the Habitat ReStore, where all proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity's efforts.
