To perform charitable and humane acts for the welfare of animals; to foster in children attitudes of kindness towards animals; to reduce the number of companion animals through a program of spaying and altering, with financial assistance to those unable to afford veterinarian fees; to inform the public of cruelty and exploitation of animals and to enlist public support for those policies which best ensure animal rights, the survival of animal species, and a healthy environment.
