Lancaster C.A.R.E.S.is a coalition of animal welfare organizations in Lancaster PA dedicated to high standards of care. We believe that by working together in a positive way, we can accomplish more to improve the quality of life and care for animals.



The mission of Lancaster C.A.R.E.S. is to create a
Coalition of
Animal
Rescue,
Education and
Services
for the citizens of Lancaster County Pennsylvania and surrounding communities.

The proper care and treatment of animals requires an understanding of their basic needs, wants and desires. Meeting all of these creates a powerful bond between an animal and their human family. Our organization and its members work hard to make sure that people that already own a pet or are thinking about adopting one understand and appreciate the commitment they are making to these animals. We hold our members to a very high standard of quality and all rescue organizations are committed to providing high quality medical care with spaying and neutering of animals being an essential and integral priority prior to adoption.
