Habitat for Humanity ReStore Findlay
Habitat for Humanity ReStore of Findlay is just one program under Habitat for Humanity of Findlay/Hancock County! To find out more about Habitat's building program, please visit Habitat's website at: www.habitatfindlay.org. Thanks!
The two primary purposes of the ReStore are: (1) to increase the capacity and self-sufficiency of Habitat for Humanity of Findlay/Hancock County to produce affordable housing for the people of Hancock County; and (2) to reduce the amount of construction supplies that go into Hancock County landfills.
ReStore: a new, unique, and much-needed building materials reuse center in Findlay. The ReStore will accept donations of new and used materials from a variety of sources, employ these materials whenever possible in the construction of Habitat homes, and sell the balance in its retail operations at least 50% below retail. Donors include contractors, building supply stores, and individuals. Donated materials would include discontinued products or lines, misordered or returned merchandise, and construction materials left over from job sites.
