My name is Margie Totos MTN Bar, but at the barn I’m known as Lucky Orphan Clover. I was born on May 27, 2002. I am a paint mare. I am originally from Montana but my first owners brought me to the Hudson Valley when I was a yearling. I lived in a field until I was 6 years old and when my young owner was being bullied about liking horses, his parents called LOHR to take me. I protested by rearing and not wanting to leave my home. However, LOHR has helped me learn to enjoy being around people and I have grown much more confident. I have stopped rearing when I feel threatened and have been trained to ride and race around barrels and even jump! I have even competed in local shows. I am also in the therapy program here at Lucky Orphans. I have made many friends here, both human and equine!
