Humanities Montana is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing the humanities, their insights and values, to the people of Montana.

We believe in the capacity of the humanities to create knowledge, stimulate reflection, resolve problems, and inspire delight. Our programs, and those of the organizations we support, explore issues of enduring and contemporary concern. They encourage critical thinking in the examination of civic issues, and deepen our understanding of where we have been, where we are, and where we are going
