Kingston Animal Shelter/Control

Animal Control Officer: Joanna "Jo" Boudreau
Assistant ACO: Meghan E. Wrightington
Animal Inspector: Debra J. Mueller

The Kingston Animal Shelter (located in Massachusetts) provides temporary housing for stray and/or abandoned dogs and cats in our community, until permanent homes can be found. The Town of Kingston, MA provides the shelter with a small operating budget. However, all expenses related to veterinary care; including medicines, flea/tick/heartworm treatments and preventatives, as well as the creature comforts we provide, are covered exclusively by donations.
We are a relatively small shelter in the scheme of Animal Rescue, but we have a very real impact on the dogs and cats in our care.
The Kingston Animal Shelter has 2 part-time Animal Control Officers: Debra J. Mueller, who is also the Animal Inspector, and Joanna "Jo" Boudreau.
The shelter is also cared for by so many wonderful volunteers, for who without their assistance we would not be able to do what we do.
