We are Friends of the Friendless Animal Rescue. We are an all-volunteer association whose aim is to save animals at the Lexington Pound and help place pets into loving homes. These animals have a history of being unwanted, abandoned, lost, and abused but after proper care and assessment have been found to be stellar companions.

There are usually many wonderful dogs and cats available, but also may have, or know of, other animals that need homes too. We have helped animals since 2001.

DONATIONS WELCOME! 100% of all donations goes toward the quality care we provide each animal.

Our adoption fees are currently $80. (or actual cost for vetting if injured or sick on arrival) per dog and $40 per cat to include spay or neuter & routine shots. Dogs usually have further canine tests and preventative care.
