Adoption Hour: 12:30 to 1:30
Adoption fees: $20.
Impound fees: $15 first day, $5 a day, thereafter, for first offence and doubles each time after that!

90.38 IMPOUND PROCEDURES:
(A) Any animal found at large within the City may be immediately taken or placed into the custody of the City and taken to the City animal shelter and impounded, and be kept therein for a period of at least 96 hours, and then humanely destroyed.

90.42 DISPOSITION OF ANIMALS:
All animals not redeemed or adopted within 96 hours shall become property of the City and may be humanely destroyed or delivered to any nonprofit animal organization or shelter; provided that, the animals shall not be used for experimental purposes and shall be the sole responsibility of the organization; and also provided that the Animal Control Officer or his agent shall make a reasonable effort to notify any person identified on the collar of an animal prior to the disposition of that animal.
