Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Founded in 1976, HFHI is a nonprofit, ecumenical housing ministry which has built over 400,000 homes worldwide.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge is a Christian-based ministry that builds and renovates houses in partnership with the community. We provide opportunities for families in need to purchase their own homes, build community and improve their lives.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge, Inc. (HFHGBR) serves an eight parish area including East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Iberville, Point Coupee, East and West Feliciana, Livingston and Ascension Parishes, covering 9,275 square miles of land.
