The mission of the Ford County Humane Society is to improve the lives of companion animals and to reduce pet overpopulation in our community. This is accomplished by finding permanent homes for animals in our care, and by educating the public about humane and responsible pet care. FCHS relies on the in-kind financial support of our community to provide programs & services to Dodge City and all of Ford County as we receive no funding from national or state organizations. Through the generosity of our supporters, we have successfully placed more than 500 pets in the last year alone.
